Thank you BGR for the invitations, I personally like to have food affair with my friends and family especially during Ramadhan because there'll be more variety of food to enjoy...You know Malaysia is kinda heaven of food!!
BGR Restaurant signature Buffet Ramadhan will be starting on 29 May to 23 Jun 2017. Offering sumptuous spread of up to 200 dishes featuring popular Malay, Western and Oriental cuisine; prices are RM 58 for adults and RM 28 for children. You also may get discount if you come in a big group.
Since deserts section are just right at my back in the main hall, I'm looking at it if I see any of favourites there...they're Spanish Churros with Thick Chocolate Sauce, Signature Italian Tiramisu, homemade Malay kuih, Puddings, Agar-agar, Tropical Fruits, Serawa Durian, Assorted Swiss Rolls with Red Velvet, Orange Jaffa and Macha Chocolate, Lychee Rose Cake, Pandan Gula Melaka Cake, Salted Corn Green Velvet Cake, Ivory Sesame Mocha Cake, Tropical Nectar, Caramel Surprise and Banana-na.
At the western section which features savouring dishes of Sous Vide Eggs with Mushrooms Espuma, Chicken Lasagna and Golden Sand Spaghetti Carbonara. There're of course my favourite all time and I wish the carbonara can be more thicker sauce...haha...On the other sides, I also have tried out their new addition, Peri-peri Chicken Drumlets...awesome!!
For malay cuisine attractions, Nasi Lemak Istimewa; a national rice dish is accompanied with a sumptuous selection which includes Rendang Daging Taik Minyak, Sambal Sotong Kembang, Ayam Bercili Masak Ketumbar, Ikan Masak Asam Kari and Telur Rebus Goreng Masak Sambal Tomato. At the same side, I found Hainanese Chicken Rice, an oriental cuisine where each piece of chicken is cooked just to the point of succulent texture and for no joke I came again for the second pieces!! I'll said totally good job for the chef and the team.
Looking forward where the highlight is the popular Kambing Bakar; lamb slow roasted on the spit cooking showcase and Sup Kambing Mamak; Indian style mutton stew. On the other side, there're freshly grilled beef and chicken satay as well as wok fried live fried Kway Teow and Fried Mee Mamak. I have tried out the satay, it's really good!!
Looking out for Durian Runtuh Party section, which features freshly harvested durians from Raub, Pahang; freshly churned gelato from Sweet Scoopz, a gelato producer known for its Musang King and PGA (Passion Fruits, Guava and Asam Boi ) flavours. Both durians and gelatos are available for take away and diners are entitled to exclusive discounts.
Adding in the atmosphere, live music performances will entertain guests from 6.30 pm - 9.30 pm daily. No worries on the spacious complimentary parking lots as well as prayer halls for guests. If you have come early, you also can enjoy the beautiful greeny scenery before the buffet started.
