Go&Move™ Review | Can Period Panties Really Replace Pads?

Can Period Panties Really Replace Pads?

Introduction

Being a busy mom of two, I’m always on the lookout for products that make my life easier, especially during that time of the month. I recently tried the Go&Move period panties, and I was honestly surprised. Here's everything you need to know from a real user’s perspective.

First Impression on Packaging and Design

The first thing I noticed was the sleek packaging, discreet and eco-friendly. The panties themselves are soft, stretchable, and come in a range of sizes that cater to real women’s bodies (yes to that!). The design is minimalist, which I love, no frills, just function and comfort.

However, the packaging written language is mostly in Chinese, which is made in Taiwan, and the size mentioned on each box varies. So it's better to measure your accurate size before ordering.

Fit and Comfort

I wore them on a medium-flow day and again overnight to test leaks. They fit snugly (not tightly), felt breathable, and didn’t give me that bulky feeling like pads do. No chafing, no odors, and definitely no embarrassment.

You can wear the period panties anytime, whether your period is coming, going, or catching you by surprise.

  • For light flow - wear it alone; it’s thin, breathable, and comfortable.
  • For heavy flow - use it together with other menstrual products for extra protection and peace of mind.
Perfect for beginners using menstrual cups, discs, or tampons:
  • Tampons - On light flow days before or after your period, wear Go&Move period panties alone. On heavier days, pair it with a tampon to catch any overflow. It's your last line of defense and helps reduce tampon usage.
  • Cups/Discs - Wear it alone on light days, or use it as a backup on heavy days. No more worries about leaks from a misplaced cup or disc.
You can also wear it on regular days as a replacement for panty liners, to absorb daily discharge and stay fresh.

Absorbency and Leak Test

The absorbent layer really surprised me. I didn’t feel wet or uncomfortable even after several hours. I tested them on a moderate day, and I’m happy to report, no leaks.

Washing and Care

After use, I rinsed them under cold water and tossed them into a laundry net. Washed them on a gentle cycle and air-dried. They held their shape well and dried faster than I expected. Super low-maintenance for reusable wear.

Tips:- Hand wash gently without pulling or twisting. If using a washing machine, place the period panties in a laundry bag. Do not tumble dry. Do not use fabric softener, bleach, dry-cleaning agents, or hot water. Air dry only. When properly cared for, the product can last up to two years. However, since it is a menstrual hygiene product, we recommend replacing it every 6 to 12 months for optimal hygiene and performance.

Final Verdict

Go&Move™ period panties are now my favourites in my monthly routine. I love how they can help reduce waste and stress, one less thing to worry about, because being the mother of two now, sometimes I experience bladder leaks, and I think wearing it saves my moment. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Suggestion

Not everyone can fully replace their menstrual products with Go&Move™ period panties, and that’s perfectly normal. Menstrual flow varies from person to person. Some may find the period panties sufficient even on heavy days, while others may need to change more frequently or pair them with tampons, cups, pads, or added protection.

The suggestion is to start by wearing it alone on light flow days. When your flow is heavier, use Go&Move period panties as your backup layer, your final line of defense, to stay worry-free and confident. They made it as lightweight and breathable as possible, so even if you wear it in anticipation of your period, it stays comfortable, with no bulky layers, no overheating, even in the summer.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to change it if worn all day? On light flow days, you don’t need to change them and can wear them all day. On heavy flow days, you may need 2-3 pairs per day, depending on your flow. For less frequent changes, you can pair them with sanitary pads, tampons, or other period products to reduce waste and frequency of changes.
  • Will it cause infections or odors? Go&Move period underwear is made with quick-dry and antibacterial-treated fabric, preventing odors and infections. They have also passed SGS testing for safety.
  • Can they absorb blood clots? Go&Move period underwear absorbs menstrual blood but does not clot. If clots are present on the surface, simply wipe them off with a tissue for a drier, more comfortable experience.
  • How many pairs do I need? For heavy flow days, we recommend having four pairs for rotation.
  • Will they stain in the washing machine? Wash light and dark colors separately in laundry bags. For stubborn stains, rinse with water before machine washing. Avoid leaving wet items for long periods to prevent color bleeding.

Jevon Baby Wearable Electric Breast Pump Review

My Breastfeeding Journey Recalling back my firstborn breastfeeding journey was not a good memory so for this second round, I wanted to do it right from the start. Allowing my newborn to latch as frequently to stimulate milk production first and it takes time. By the 3rd day, my breast started to feel so engorged and in pain that my baby was not keen to latch thus I needed to find a way to quickly drain out to reduce complications. Staying at the confinement center, I can get help to massage my breasts first to ease the engorgement and let me tell you it's a hate-love relationship during the session. Next, I started pumping 3 hourly schedules to drain out and it's started to feel better. My current goal in the breastfeeding journey is to drain out properly and maintain supply by pumping freely yet easily and also offer breastfeeding on demand. Let's see what I got for the breast pump. Unboxing Jevon Baby Wearable Electric Breast Pump Jevon Baby Wearable Electric Breast Pump ...
